Reviews
"Really good park, wide variety of biomes. Pine forest, hardwood forest, bog, wetlands, and more. Really interesting fallen trees, cypress trees and roots along the water (like a twisted maze), secret area off the map but has a trail, that one can follow to a hidden rose garden, beach, and quiet area. Dogs loved it, chased some toads and frogs. Saw about a dozen adult foxes playing with each other on the road wandering in. There's no trash bin so plan on packing out everything including poop. We will be going back for sure. It was a perfect walk in the shade for a warm afternoon and absolutely gorgeous."
"Beautiful place for a small hike"
"Beautiful little set of rustic trails. 1/2 mile round trip. [Please "like" if you find this review helpful]"
"Beautiful, with old trees, great wild life, we spotted, an eagle, three deer and many different kinds of birds, the forest floor was filled with tiny toads, some the size of my pinky nail and some larger then my hand, just an amazing place to explore our natural wild life of Michigan"
"Very nice preserve, beautiful forest of mature maple, hemlock, white pine and cedar. Trails are limited but provide nice views of the lake."
