Reviews
"Nice sandy beach with a lot of rocks to look at. Petoskey and Charlevoix, if you look. The lighthouse is cool and there are some nice boats coming through the channel."
"Lovely beach. Lots of rocks. Wear water shoes if you want to go bare feet. I found my first Petoskey stone! Hint..they are much easier to spot when wet, so look at the wet rocks if you are trying to find one. Water was too cold to go in the day I was there. I am sure it would be the perfect place to go in a hot summer day!"
"Spent the day at Michigan Beach Park with the family and had a great time. The beach area was clean, there was plenty of parking, and restroom facilities were conveniently located. The only heads up to share is regarding the number of rocks when you first enter the water, so depending on how sensitive your feet are, consider water shoes. The beach sand is perfect and lake bottom is all sand after the first few feet of rocks. Other than that, we highly recommend visiting!"
"Fabulous beach. It was very windy when we went in aug end, but am sure it’s a treat during a lovely summer day! Lots of beautiful blue colors that the lake throws at you! Make sure to take your best cameras to capture this wonder!"
"Beach was quite nice. Little rocky so must wear shoes but the water was clean. The restroom near made it convenient. Not too far from shops so made it easy to enjoy both the beach and town without have to move the car from the public parking at the beach. (The Mushroom house was right up the street from the beach.) Found a lot of tiny Petosky stones and fossils which was unexpected. The sunset by the lighthouse made it for a perfect view of ending a lovely day."
