"Nice place to rent for a gathering. Clean facility, easy parking, nice seating indoors and beside the lake."
"Wonderful venue!!! We had a graduation party that couldn’t have been better!! Highly recommend!!!"
"If I could give it 10 stars I would! The venue is absolutely perfect. It's such a beautiful building and lake setting- that it really doesn't need any decorations! The owner is so accommodating and does everything she can to make your event run smoothly! We used Sweet Thymes to cater, and The Party Prep Co to decorate- and our event was wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough!"
"Seemed like she was making up the prices as she spoke, but I love their lake house and interior. The outside deck is spacious and had plenty of seating there as well. Update- This lady is very rude and money hungry. Our great aunt who is a breast cancer and covid surviver in her 70's passed out as my aunt walked into her bridal shower. Ambulance was called and we found out her blood count was low. This lady told us we could have one extra hour after that situation occurred. But when everything was said and done and we were about done cleaning up she tried to charge us anyway and threatened to take our deposit check. Then when we told her no, to take it in cash because the check was way more than what we owed she hinted that the check was fake! The situation got out of hand and my mom was upset trying to explain why what she said about the price didn't make sense. The lady put her hand in her face and told her she needed to HUSH. Also when my mom and aunt said they would pay in cash she said "Well I might just cash the check anyway!" Just because she was angry, and not for any valid reason other than my mom raising her voice (just a little) when asking why she changed the prices again because she was finally fed up. She told us we weren't allowed back even though everything was paid for, nothing was broken, and we cleaned up EVERYTHING. I advise you to use caution with having your events here. I am very glad the wedding was at the Anderson Center because they were very accommodating and there to help. Super nice! And guess what... everything went on without any issues. Hmm I wonder why that is if we're such terrible people. Also, I would recommend making sure to take pictures after your event showing things are clean and nothing is broken. I have a picture of the original contract as proof, but I don't feel comfortable posting it. Not saying don't have your events here, it's a lovely place. Just be mindful and pay attention to what she's saying, I promise I wouldn't lie on this lady."
"Me and my wife used Lake Ida Cafe and Fine Arts as our venue for our wedding reception. The building is beautiful and very accommodating with our wedding reception setup. Mrs. Campbell is a great hostess and made sure all of our needs were met for the day. The back porch is really special with the view of the lake and the stringed lights. Awesome venue!"
