"Could not be more satisfied with this call. I called at 9:30am, left a message, got a call back around noon. Serviceman, Dave, came out at 3:30pm. Here for a little while checking things out. Parts were 90, service call 89, labor another 50. $229 out the door. They explained things appropriately to me, showed me basic maintenance, and were very polite. When the temperature and humidity are high, and they can come out this fast, I would recommend them to anyone. I was fully expecting the worst when it came to our AC, and this company eased my fears. "We've been using Dyer & De Weerd for many years. Have always received outstanding service and they typically have gone above and beyond for us. My most recent experience was a little disappointing. The service tech arrived on time and was very efficient in diagnosing the problem . He had the part on hand and repaired the system quickly. The problem I have was with the protocols... Service tech arrived and started to come into our house without a mask - I had to ask him if he had a mask. He went back to his truck and returned with a bandana over his face. OK - but all the science has shown that bandana's, gators, etc, are not effective due to the single layer and loose weave of the cloth. The other issue was he came in/out of our house a couple times and did not cover or remove his work boots - effectively tracking dirt/salt, etc. into our house each time he came in. I decided not to say anything about this at the time because I wanted the furnace fixed and didn't want to make more waves. It would be better if your didn't have to ask service professionals to follow the guidelines that have been set by the state as well as their own employer."
