"A 0.8 mile loop of flat terrain through pine covered sand dunes. Close to the small very clear Heins creek for a stretch."
"Easy mostly flat hike through sand Dunes, prairie, and woods. Short but relaxing. Creek was dry when I was through."
"Went in September. Creek is almost completely dried up even after rain, also multiple debris dams are blocking the creek. Likely won't be any fish until water levels rise. Bit of a shame to loose spawning habitat. Cute Park though."
"One of my new favorite hikes! This trail features woods, creeks, fields of wildflowers, and some sand. This trail is one loop around the property and features a winding trail through the trees From fish in the creek to bees pollinating the flowers, this is a beautiful trail to hike. Some of the terrain is muddy by the creek and sandy in the fields, so plan accordingly."
"Heins creek is very clear water. Went to see if the class II stream had any trout but from what I explored I saw no evidence of them. Potentially a spring run? Anyways the trails are nice, a fall hike through here is very pretty."
