Reviews
"We love the state parks. This has a small but beautiful beach area in a small bay. There are also hiking trails and geocaches."
"Did not use the park as a beach, but went at night to look at the stars. It was awesome. I've never seen so many stars in my life."
"A fabulous park and designated as an International Dark Sky Park. We enjoyed a superb view of the Persied meteor shower. There are numerous miles of beach, trails, campsites, grills, picnic tables and benches throughout."
"This beach is a little out of the way, but worth the trip. We found a nice spot and had it almost completely to ourselves. The one downside is that when we were there, there were quite a few small, biting sand flies. Putting our feet up a little solved that problem, and I'm not sure if it's like that all the time."
"Absolutely love this spot. It was a great hike for myself and six year old. There are bathrooms at the start of the trail by parking lot number three. Thereβs also a small sandy beach available there. The day we were there there was also someone giving an educational tour about trees. There are so many lovely and wonderful hidden spots just off of the main trails that lead to small beaches. It was very easy to be away from others even though the parking lot was full. We absolutely will be back."
