"My first trip to the UP brought me here. The day was cool with a light rain to sharpen up the green on the trees and the moss. This whole area, plus Hogs back, was worth the 5 hours it took to get here. Make sure you have enough time for the trails and hiking, or stay in lodging near and come back a few times to get it all. It can get pretty busy but the area is big enough that you don't feel crowded in. If you hike hogs, it can get slick so be aware."
