"One of the most beautiful parks I have ever visited! Serene and enchanting with very well groomed hiking trails. A very nice sandy beach, at least 2 miles long. This place is great for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking as long as the wind is cooperating. The water is crystal clear. The forest is absolutely gorgeous! Two parking areas with pit toilets. You will need a Michigan recreation pass which can be purchased at any state campground for $39."

"Little Presque Isle is a great place for a quick hike or some time on the beach. While I believe you can drive out, the trails from the Big Bay road are very nice, giving you a chance to see the woods."
