"I brought my Omega watch in to be serviced around Christmas- it was running around 30 seconds slow, but there wasn't anything else wrong with it, so I was hoping a clean and service would fix it. It did- for a little while. I noticed that now and then, the second hand would 'stick' when I first put it on. But just a little hesitation, right at the start, like the hands of the watch were catching on something. Then it got worse, and worse. At first I could tap the crystal and it would get the hands moving again, but then it just stopped period, and now it doesn't run at all. I can hear the mechanism moving, but the hands are frozen, though I don't know if that has damaged the movement. I should say I haven't contacted the shop to look at it. I'm sure they would, but I'm scared to give it to them, since it was working when I gave it to them the first time but is now broken. I love this watch and I don't want to risk anything worse happening to it, so I'm paying for another full service, this time from Omega (like I should have in the first place). I'd rather pay again than take the risk. The owner seems very nice but I would advise anyone thinking about taking a watch here to just send it to the manufacturer to repair it (if possible)."

"Just picked up my 1984 Rolex GMT after a service. Before taking my watch in for the service it literally felt like it was breaking every time i would wind the movement and the date would change at 11:30 pm. Took my watch in and picked it up 5 days later ( the average service at rolex takes 4-6 weeks) the watch felt amazing the winding felt as smooth as a 2023 watch, the date changes at exactly 12 and even tho i asked for the watch to not be polished you can see its been cleaned thoroughly all the way to the threads were the crown screws in. Highly recommended and i personally wouldn’t take my watches anywhere else."
