"This place would have so much potential if a few things were changed. Also, before i begin - id like to throw it out that there that i never leave bad reviews or complain, but i feel this place really needs to improve. First off, they open the pool when it is cold as $hit still in late May. Second, the kids who work there are rude. Third, the hours suck and the life guards take 2 breaks which cut into the swimmers time - - - Lastly, which really just ticked me off, if August is the hottest month of the year here in Indiana and they closed it early this month due to being done for the season. Last year it also closed early. I do not know if there are any state requirements, but I guess this place just doesn't like money. Oh and that is one more thing - this place cost me and my family 150$ and we weren't able to use it at all this summer."
"A little disappointed at how dirty the pool has been this year. We purchased a pass for the summer and have yet to get our physical cards. Staff are very sweet. Concessions are really good and affordable. Can't go wrong with their walking taco. Unfortunately their slide is closed due to safety issues. I do believe 150.00 is a bit much for what's offered."
"DO NOT BUY THE FAMILY SEASON PASS! This place has totally gone down hill .. Slide will be closed for the 2023 Season... Not a deal breaker.. BUT the kiddie pool not working currently and HAS NO estimated time it will be reopened.. that should have been mentioned before someone buys a family pass.. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE STANDING THERE WITH SMALL CHILDREN .. DEFINITELY WAS NOT WORTH THE $150 pass this year .. Had we been informed about the broken kiddie pool issue we would have saved that kind of money to go to other water parks .. also why is having a fanny pack or side purse not allowed? are we supposed to just have swimsuit money for concessions?! Why can't we have our diaper bags? This is kinda ridiculous when you have 2 children under age 2 ... Get it together Merrifield Pool .."
"Last year they kept running out of food at the concession stand within an hour of opening! The lifeguards didn't care what happened and I am kind of surprised no one drowned due to the lack of rule enforcement! Staff was rude! I am really hoping that this year will be better otherwise I will not ever come back!"
