"Great stop in historical Galena. The tour is free, but they have a donation box for facility upkeep. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable and work on a volunteer basis. The tour takes 30 minutes and it is well worth the stop!"

It was a pleasure being able to tour the Grant home, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Galena to stop by and look at everything in the house. "Excellent stop while in Galena. The history told by the tour guides is great and only takes about 15 minutes. Our kids loved it too seeing all the antique furniture and way houses were furnished back then. Grant was a fascinating person and anyone who likes history should make this a stop.
