"Unable to connect with a person at Title One. Closed on the sale of a house January 13. $300 was withheld for final water bill. Told Title One would pay the final bill and forward the balance. Talked to the water dept. found out the final bill was issued and is now past due. Tried to call Title One. Put in the first 3 digits of the last name of the person I want to talk to. Did this and was told the directory was empty. No option to talk directly to a human. Your customer service is terrible."
"Very honest. I received a call from one of the agents named Sandy and she had informed me about a check that we forgot to cash after closing. The fact that she had done this means she deals with honesty. This is someone you want to do business with!"
"I have had bad experiences with Title One as both a home buyer and an officer in a Home Owner's Association board. When we were closing with the builder who would build our new home, the closing took many hours while Title One struggled to understand the paperwork from our lender. They kept telling us that we still owed the amount of our down payment, which had already been made. I kept telling them that I knew what I was paying for the house, and they were wrong. When they did finally figure it out hours later, they didn't even bother to apologize. As an officer in an HOA, I have experience with 3 different title companies and 3 different builders. The other builders and title companies follow our instructions when closing on new houses that are built in our neighborhood. Title One is biased toward the builder they work with, and ignores our instructions. They claim that we are making demands they have never seen before. But if that is true, why do the other title companies and builders comply with instructions? The only possible conclusion is that they do whatever the builder tells them to. This gives the builder an unfair advantage over the buyer."
"Ken and his team have been invaluable to us through the buying and selling process of our homes. We recommend Title One to everyone we know in the home purchase process. Ken answers all questions and his calm demeanor makes you comfortable through the entire closing process. Title One has always been on schedule and professional, rightdown to Ken's bow ties at closing. Thanks Title One!"
"We had a great experience working with Title One when buying our first house. We worked mainly with Ken Taylor. He was wonderful, but really everyone else at the company who had a part in our closing with was friendly, informative, and helpful. I plan to work with them in the future, and would highly recommend them to others."
