"We enjoyed five nights in September in cabin 4. We loved the proximity to Lake Superior, and spent a lot of time watching for boats and looking for rocks on the shore. We recommend bringing binoculars so you can identify the freighters that go by frequently. The owners are very approachable and make everyone feel welcome. There are many things available for guests to use, including a library of books, indoor and outdoor games, puzzles, bikes, and kayaks. Everything is on a trust basis … use it and return it. It was a great experience and we would love to come back!"

"rustic, no-frills, clean, cozy and comfortable. you can’t beat the view and the sound of the waves crashing all night. the current owners seem to be pretty eco conscious, requesting water conservation and recycling. love that! they have a very well-stocked office with board/lawn games, puzzles, books and sweet homemade bookmarks. two harbors is less then 10 minutes away. we had a great time."
