"Very convenient, close to my job, the rent rate is reasonable, it is very similar around the area . Some people think it is a cheap one but it's not a cheap place is a very good area and safe to live s d wonderful lake view for sunsets lovers. I dont have many issues as per my own apartment. maintainance service always attends my calls if I need to. the building gets vacuumed once a week, they do a vacuum through, and clean the entrances, and it's done. parking lot is first comes first served. And the constant smell of Marijuana. And some dog owners don't always clean their waste. Just leave it on the grass area ."
"You know the apartments are good, but what really put me over the edge from four to five stars was the tour I received, absolutely charming lady named Morgan showed me around!"
"DO NOT APPLY TO THESE APARTMENTS. I applied and paid the crazy price of $50 just to submit an application. After that I was forced to pay another $150 just to hold my spot on a waiting list. This was the first of many frustrating things as I had already been told by management that they had an opening and then found out this was not true when I filled out the application. I could not move forward until I paid the extra $150 so I called management and asked if this would be refunded if I chose to not move forward with getting an apartment at Lakecrest. I was assured over the phone that I would receive the money back should I choose at any point to not move forward. This was a complete lie. About a month into the waiting process I finally was told something was coming available. Unfortunately, it was not at the location I had applied for. I asked if I could look at the apartment, but of course I was not allowed to (I actually was never able to tour any of the apartments which should have been a red flag from the beginning). I decided to move forward with the process simply because at this point I was desperate for housing. Next, I was sent an estimate of the move in cost which was an outrageous $2,000, even though my monthly rent would only be around $750 and the $150 that I had already put down was supposed to go towards the first month of rent. I tried to ask about the fees and was given no explanation except for a spreadsheet emailed to me which supposedly explained everything. It was confusing and not helpful at all. At this point I was very frustrated and felt wary of moving forward with this apartment so I informed my contact at Lakecrest that I was no longer interested and asked for my $150 refund. She told me that I could not get a refund and was very rude to me. She said the only way I could maybe be refunded was if I reached out to corporate, but of course she would not give me any information on how to do that. Overall, this whole experience was incredibly frustrating. Management was dishonest with me and I lost $200 due to their manipulation and coercion. I would highly advise anyone who is looking for a decent place to live to go elsewhere."
"These new owners are subpar. There are zero bike racks anywhere on the property. So, when I took my car into the shop, I had locked my bike at the bottom of the stairwell (completely out of the way) and they had maintenance SAW IT OFF within 24 hours. I made a whole police report about a stolen bike and had to post my number around the building for some of my neighbors to contact me telling me that maintenance took it. It was a completely disrespectful act toward their tenants. The lady in the front office was less than polite and they refused to take the price of a new lock off of my rent. Then the bike was returned to me with a flat tire. To top it off, the maintenance guy told me that he has sawed off multiple bikes. So they invested in a power saw instead of bike racks. Also I have caught double-digit mice in my 3rd-floor apartment. Two stars is generous; this place has a nice location but that's about it. Even the pool is tiny and the blue paint on the bottom comes off on your skin."
"Our maintenance staff is great! Robert always is extremely knowledgeable and fixes more than just what’s on the request. He is so helpful with things we need done and it’s always good as new. Thank you Robert!!"
