"My spouse and I spent, all of this last winter, spring and good part of tge summer trying to find a new place. After months of looking we had come to the conclusion that this company holds a good portion of the housing around the area. Atleast, a good portion of what was still available. So, we contacted them. I called them probably about 12 different times with no response back from anyone. I took to email at that point which I was told to apply to whatever place we had been looking at. So, I applied. $45 application fee later and I still hadnt recieved any calls until over a month later. At this point Id given up on them. When they finally got ahold of me I went in and looked at a few places as it was our only option without going to a complex. We went through atleast 3 different people trying to get the lease and everything set up for the house. Only to find out they all quit. Eventually, We found a decent stand-alone home with plenty of space for us, so we took it. After struggling to get them the deposit as NO ONE is consistently stationed at the Big Rapids branch because of lack of staff. Which I get, everyone is struggling so we were patient. We get the keys the 21st and on the 30th we head in to ensure the place is ready for us as we have furniture coming in on the 31st. My spouse, standing in shorts and t-shirts walking through the house was repeatedly getting bit. The carpet was infested with FLEAS! We hadnt even moved in yet so naturally we contacted the company. To which they repeatedlt refused to nothing more than contact a pest control company with the statement, "payment would be the responsibility of the tenant." On top of that, when asked to speak to a supervisor I was once again repeatedly refused that service. Upon further inspection the house has been minimally cleaned. The previous tenant's mess simply cleaned and tidied up. The walls have multiple dirt spots on the them, the windowsills full of dirt and dead bugs. The microwave and air fryer they had left for use splatter with grease and food particle from previous tenants and so on and so forth. Lonh story short this company is completely unprofessional, unresponsive and as far as the needs of the tenants go they could care less clearly. The photos below show my vaccuum after spraying, putting down flea powder and then bombing the house to rid us of them as well as the fleas that continuously jumped and bit my spouse. The filth left behind which they had also claimed a cleaning company and carpet company had come in and taken care, a walk through had supposedly also been done. Either their standards for those companies are low and they thought ot perfectly fine or these things were never down. Either way I may never know because all I keep getting told is to fill out a work order for a pest control company I could easily call myself. All I wanted was the company to fix their mistake and rid us of the fleas. The rest I would have taken care of myself but here we are now. I hope you're happy with yourselves."

Sometimes renting can be stressful but at RPM Big Rapids Brandi will always be there to help you out and get you through whatever issues may arise. I rented a 1 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend for 2 years, the apartment had its ups and downs but was ultimately a great place to live for the both of us."
