"Metro Carpet & Floors (Farmington Hills Michigan) orchestrated nothing short of a breathtaking flooring metamorphosis! The awe-inspiring precision and incomparable professionalism demonstrated by Moses and his remarkable team during the selection and installation process have elevated my basement into a true masterpiece. Thanks to Metro Carpet & Floors, my home has transcended into a realm of sheer magnificence. Your dedication and hard work have truly made my abode an outstanding marvel!"
"We had Mousa install our hardwood floors and he had a lot to work with. The floors were very uneven and he did the best he could and leveled the floors and they look wonderful. Very professional and communicated all the time with us with videos and texts. Definitely would use them again. Dom was great to work with so easy and he knew exactly what we wanted and worked with us with price and install."
"Moussa askar, with Metro Carpet from Farmington Hills location did an amazing job installing my vinyl flooring through my home. Got the job done in two days. He has great customer service, very responsive and reliable. I would recommend him again for a another project."
"Metro Carpet & Floors did an excellent and professional job in both the selection and installation process of our office suite flooring. They have a tremendous selection in their show room and provided our carpeting and luxury vinyl. I truly appreciated working with "Mr. MO!" He allowed us to take sample boards and always responded to my calls and texts. I have no problem giving them a 5-star rating!"
"Ordered new tile flooring for a small foyer area. Guy came on Thursday to install but asked if he could come "first thing on Friday" because tile work wasn't his expertise and needed another guy who was the expert. That guy apparently had a family emergency. Of course, I said yes. Installer doesn't show up until noon on Friday and proceeds to demo the existing tile floor (unbeknownst to me) with absolutely no drop cloth or plastic barrier to protect my furniture in the two adjoining rooms open to the foyer. Literally, an inch of white dust on my artwork, antiques, furniture, and floors. When I discover this, the installer tells me that if he put a barrier up, he and his co-worker would be breathing in the dust; I asked him why Metro Carpet doesn't provide them with respirators, which is an OSHA standard for that type of work. I have the sales guy from the Troy store come over and he agrees and tells the guy that he'll provide him with some special cleaning cloths to clean this. In any event, the installer promises to clean everything when he is done and tells me he'll be back early on Saturday morning and that to lay the tile and grout this small area will only take "2-3 hours." Well, he shows up at NOON again and proceeds to work until almost 9:00 PM, STILL not completing the install. He asks if he can come back on Sunday morning, so I cancel my plans and tell him that he needs to show up early. He arrives by himself at 8:15 AM and finally "completes" the job around 11:30 AM. I wish FB allowed photos with these reviews. He left the work area FILTHY. Dried concrete on my carpeted stairs, dried grout all over the front door and handle to the front door and did not lift a finger to clean the areas he said he would. Worse, the "trim work" he did around the base of the floor was shoddy at best...a sixth grader could have done a better job. Gaps in the molding, not mitering the edges, leaving gaps between the transition pieces (not to mention that he used three DIFFERENT colored transition pieces), and put nothing under my bottom stair so now the carpet is just hanging there. He brought none of his own supplies: I had to give him a broom, dustpan, sponges, buckets for water, and a marker to measure the tiles. God only knows how the actual tile will hold up once I start to walk on it. He left and I said I'd go down to the Troy store shortly to pay the balance, hoping to speak to someone about my dissatisfaction with the install. He leaves and returns ten minutes later, demanding a check for the balance because "that's the store's policy." I would NOT recommend Metro Carpet and Floors unless you have your OWN installer. These guys use fly-by-night subcontractors who do NOT know what they're doing. Horrible. Now, I'm going to have to pay someone to fix their mess. Grade: F"
