"This is a good hill that should get you far as a beginner. It's pretty cheap to visit for a day, and they have everything from greens to blacks. Don't be fooled by the ratings. The blue in the middle, Lumberjack, is an easy and wide open space to learn on, and the greens, Dean's Pass and Harry's Hollow are actually more difficult due to being constrained by the trees and the slope being so shallow that you have to be careful with how you conserve your momentum. There are some tools around back so you can fix and adjust your setup. It can get pretty crowded, and your experience is going to vary widely with snow conditions."

"Sam in 2024 lift broke first ride. Had to wait an hour and a half for my food which never came. Better than not riding it all at least I could cliff drop the biggest hit there."

"This is my favorite little ski hill in the area. I have never had a bad experience when going and I taught both my kids to ski here. It is small but it is super fun to get laps in. The lodge is lacking, that would be the only negative."

"Great ski instructor for the kids. All employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonable pricing. The runs were more fun than I thought they would be and very well groomed. It is an older resort, but we went to ski, and the skiing was awesome."
