"It's nice to have this place in our small town, but along with it being a small town, the prices of essentials are pretty high. I feel bad for those people who don't have any other options on where to shop. There is no grocery store in town, so Dollar General is the only option. The price of grocery store items like milk and meats are crazy high. They are reasonable on the price of household items, though. I'm glad that they are there in a pinch. Going there for certain things, beast having to drive 30 mins to go someplace else"
"Done shopping here for the time being. I'm charged more than the price on the tag probably 60% of the time. Never overcharged much, usually anywhere from a quarter to a dollar to the point where I usually don't notice until I get home and check the receipt."
"This store is the worst. It has filthy floors, unorganized shelves, and products strung all over the aisle floors. The prices on the face of the shelves are almost never correct and there are ALWAYS carts of inventory blocking the main aisles. I dont even know how this place could be so dirty knowing how new the building is and knowing what cleaning protocols should have been for the last two years. I feel like i need a shower after leaving the store. I would avoid it completely if it wasn't the only place to get basic things for many miles."
