"I was looking forward to developing a lasting relationship with this company for my compost, soil and landscaping needs for my home and business. However, I won't ever give them my business after today. I called yesterday To inquire about compost and topsoil prices. I spoke to man who was quite witty and funny on the phone and raved about their quality of topsoil. I explained that in the past topsoil that I have purchased from other places has been very chunky and clay like and he assured me that his is definitely not like that and I should come and take a look and see for myself. So I did just that. I arrived with my 2 younger sons and started to ask the guy questions about the top soil and compost. His overall general attitude was very off-putting. I quickly got the feeling that I was annoying him and my questions were a waste of time. I then asked if I could see and feel the top soil and his response was something like "knock yourself out its in the back just drive all the way back and you'll find it do whatever you want with it". Let me be clear that there wasn't even another customer on site. And he's sending me with my children to find the top soil in a huge muddy lot with machines and several huge piles of dirt, mulch, etc. How the heck was I supposed to know where to go? I attempted to drive back there and quickly got overwhelmed and frustrated not knowing what exactly i was looking for so I left. I am a strong and independent woman. I do hard things all the time. I'm not a priss and I'm not an idiot. But the way this guy acted while I was there made me feel like he at least though I was and didn't need my business not want to give me the time of day. It was a great lesson for my boys on how not to treat people. How not to treat a woman for sure. And definitely how not to do business."

"We purchased compost from here and had it delivered. Delivery was easy to set up and inexpensive. The compost that was delivered looked amazing and has done wonders for our garden so far. Only issue I had was the delivery time wasn't met. I understand that there are delays and hang ups so it's not a huge deal but a phone call telling me they were going to be late would have been nice. All in all my experience with Bush & Son was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be using them in the future!"
