"My experience was awesome at value city Andy the sale person was very patient and knowledgeable. I got a credit card financed and only took a couple minutes to get approved. I bought a beautiful ivory reclining sectional. Which I absolutely love. I paid for delivery service and that's where I am so unhappy with my experience with the delivery team. First my delivery day gets switched from Saturday to a weekday Wednesday, okay understandable things happen. Delivery truck arrives at 1130am and as I watched them unload the sectional in pieces one of the drivers unwraps the the pieces on the back of the truck while it was sprinkling and wet outside (Mind you the Sectional is ivory cloth color that could easily be stained outside unwrapped Told the guy hey can u please make sure to keep the plastic on til u bring them inside? I don't want them ruined. He rudely said "I am the professional here" ! They both handled my items poorly after saying something to them he lied and said the screws to connect the sectional weren't with the delivery. And he was just gonna leave 6 pieces without setup. So I told them I was calling their boss and all of a sudden he found extras in the truck?! he had a very bad attitude setting up my sectional I would NEVER get any service from the delivery department again especially if that the kind of workers you have representing your business. Not sure how to upload the pictures but definitely took some of my sectional unwrapped outside in the wet weather."

"First they delivered the wrong color couch, put a hole in my nightstand, broke the mirror that went to the dresser, forgot to give me two cords to my power loveseat (only got one). Tried to get a hold of the store several times to no avail only getting to the corporate customer service that would only send emails to the store. Finally someone called me to schedule the replacement delivery as well as my delayed recliner. It was supposed to be here on Jan 25th, but never came and never got a word about delay. Again multiple calls later with more emails sent to the store by the customer service team. Someone called back and now today everything comes except they didn’t bring me a new couch… it’s scuffed, dented, worn out in places, with threads out… recliner came and that looks OK, mirror came and that’s OK, but they forgot my cord to my loveseat as well and my nightstand still has a big gaping hole in it. I have a video showing the furniture was tipped over and not secured on the delivery truck. Now I have to make MORE calls! OMG! They can’t get this right! Very unhappy customer!"

"Great experience at Value City Furniture in Kentwood today! Our Sales Associate Jenna was knowledgable and pleasant it made the shopping trip so easy! We told her what we were looking for and she was able to take us directly to what we wanted! She was very professional and had the answers to all of our questions! Great customer service is hard to find these days, but this girl was happy, helpful, and knowledgable, you could tell she enjoyed her job! We will definitely return to Value City for our next purchase!"
