"The majority of items sold here are for a fair price, as they also sell antiques and collectibles. My partner has been disappointed with the electronics though, laptops and monitors are priced as if they're new in shrink wrap. I understand wanting to discourage scalpers and resellers, but it is hard on people who need something budget."
"Grossly overpriced. Thrift stores are great and all but this one is operating as a “museum”. $120 (reduced price) for a set of Pyrex Bowls, $480 for quilts…get real."
"Been going here for a few years and the prices are getting a little out of control. Clothing prices are still somewhat reasonable, but the appliances and furniture pricing has increased to the point of being silly. Employees are nice as always though."
"Prices on non clothing items are pretty expensive, especially the stuff in the display cases. Just because something is electronics or old doesn't mean you can just slap a high price tag on it. Lots of stuff in the display cases is the same stuff that has been in there for years."
"I enjoy stopping here when I'm in the area. Prices are all over the map; some things are a great bargain, while other prices are so laughably overpriced that even when they're half price they're too expensive (and I see them sitting on the shelves sometimes for years). Last time I was in there was a jigsaw puzzle priced $25 just because it was still sealed (it would've been cheaper to buy it from a boutique toy store), and other puzzles at ludicrously high prices for no discernible reason; even on half-price day the price would be terribly unreasonable. I realize there are volunteers that do the pricing, but when someone is pricing things outlandishly it's time for the manager to have a word with that volunteer, or to kick the person off pricing duty. That said, there's an interesting selection, I almost always find something, and the money goes to a good cause. Volunteers are always kind and helpful."
