Ben helped me pick out the right wood floors to replace carpet that I previously had in several bedrooms and then came over to personally make sure things were measured correctly and would look great. Their crew did everything from start to finish on the day of install including moving furniture, removing old carpet, and the install is top quality and looks great. "So, here’s the deal, Ben (the owner) was great … he came out and measured our space and was very confident that the floors would go down without a hitch. This was not the situation. Yes, the 3rd party that installed the floors did a decent job (we had a couple of stair noses that did come unglued and needed repaired - three times), but our flooring trim job was an absolute mess. We were told that our craftsman concept of honey oak trim and dark plank floors would be an easy job - we had one man dramatically quit over the trim stain situation, and the owner and his father had to try and deal with the terribly stained quarter round(some employee had laid them together and slapped it on, leaving a lot of the edges unstained or oversaturated). $15k and the trim still doesn’t match from length to length or our existing baseboards - It honestly looks cheap and unprofessionally done. The flooring looks decent but we chose the color … not the experience we anticipated."
