"Purchased a traverse from here with 35k miles in December 23. Not really l happy with this situation. Vehicle was turned in off a lease and needed repair and tires. The parts were not available to fix the car before we took it home. Scheduled to bring it in the next week for repair. Verified the evening before that the parts were in and it was ok to bring it in the next day. We were told it was, only to be told the next morning it couldn't be fixed that day. Rescheduled for the next week. When we brought it in, we told them there was a clunk in the front end. They said the parts they were replacing would fix it. Apparently no one actually drove the car bc it didn't fix it. We called and left 2 messages about getting the car back in with no response. With an upcoming road trip, I took it to a different dealership and they were able to fix it after driving it and determining it needed a sway bar. They drove it again to assure the noise was gone. Tires also had to have 2/4 valve stems replaced due to being pushed in too far and them not wanting to take air. Brand new tires. This was repaired by our local tire store. Also, we noticed the wipers were ripped when we got the car home after picking it up the despite it going through a "full inspection." I'm not trying to be a huge whiner but this was NOT a budget vehicle here. Used sure, but still very expensive. Do better folks. Not impressed."

"Under new management so decided to give them a try so I can support a local Coopersville business. From the moment I entered the building I felt welcomed but not pressured. The used Explorer I was interested was buried by a snowfall from earlier in the day but the staff eagerly spent 30 minutes digging the car out for me. After some typical negotiation an offer was agreed to with an understanding the dealership would take care of a few minor open recall issues. The following day I inspected the vehicle and confirmed the repairs were completed but also noticed new rear brakes, new tires, an oil change, a new air filter and a full tank of gas! All of this was done after the agreed purchase price was finalized and that’s just fantastic customer service. Thank you Chris Baker and the entire team at Baker Chevrolet of Coopersville."
