I brought them my sad lookin' Converse - no longer white after having worn them everyday while traveling, trudging through vineyards - and presto: they came back good as new. I truly thought there was no hope left for them, but just a few days with the Shoe Doctor and they were ready for new adventures. Thanks Shoe Doctor, can't wait to come back again!"

"Went to this business for heel taps to "support black business" and the guy who came to the counter saw the bag in my hand and said, WITHOUT GREETING ME, "we don't do repairs...(follow me here) 'iown' know what to tell you." Like ANY Doctor, if you had a specialty, shouldn't your advertisement say as much??? It's "shoe doctor" NOT SNEAKER DOCTOR. "We only do gym shoes" he adds. What's worse--in my attempt to support black business, I begged the man to allow me to use the restroom because I'm a woman over a particular age with urgent needs. He flatly told me "naw, I cain't do dat." Even Jesus said that it's better to ignore the law if it means helping someone in distress. Needless to say, my entry into the house was as equally unpleasant as my experience at this place. He even had the audacity to say that I should have called THE SHOE DOCTOR first to ask if they did repairs...no business acumen whatsoever. As I like to say, customer service is a great experience, not a department. This place is lacking both!!"
