"Very cute place. From the outside it looks like a small plain old church. As soon as we walked in the place smelled great. There’s a cozy area upstairs. We put together a puzzle while we waited for our food. There was fun music playing in the restaurant. All the food was great. Will definitely come again!"
"We spent a few days in door county and this food was, by far, the best. The whitefish dip was fantastic. Gumbo was perfect for a cold winters night, but, the prosciutto and pear flatbread was out of this world. The owners here are beyond kind and warm and seem to truly love their establishment and make that clear in the way they interact with each other and the guests."
"The food was amazing and such a cozy and quaint atmosphere. Service was a bit slow, but actually that added to the atmosphere. Super friendly staff with some quirky knowledge - nice to chat with. We had the baked brie, beet root salad, and Heidi (flat bread). Everything was an amazing combo of flavors and texture."
"The Dromhus is a little gem located a few blocks from the water in Sturgeon Bay. While the menu is small, everything we ordered was amazing. The Swedish meatballs were tender with a delicious traditional gravy atop al dente pasta. The charred Brussels sprouts was one of my favorites: I took the photo after I had unapologetically dug in, but rest assured, it is a generous portion. The baked Brie was outstanding, wrapped in a tender, flaky crust, alongside a nice lingonberry preserves, roasted nuts, toast, and fresh apple slices. Really good. The buratta/arugula salad was delicious too. Heather, the owner, has done a wonderful job using the space to create an inviting atmosphere that has preserved the history and charm of the former chapel. A local we spoke with highly recommended the open-mic night (Thursdays), but unfortunately we had to miss it. We look forward to a return visit!"
"Heather welcomes her guests with open arms, you instantly feel like family. This is such a cute place. Outside seating available for those warm days approaching. I had "The Heidi" - apples, Gouda & bacon. It was absolutely delicious with great flavor! A must visit if you're in the area."
