"We stopped for drinks and stayed for lunch. Bartender was great, food was great (had a burger) and good prices. Locals were not super friendly but they didn't scowl at us either. Nice taxidermy collection. Good stop. we'll be back."
"Really great food. Loaded bacon cheeseburgers, handmade onion rings and colossal breaded mushrooms. Great selection of drinks and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. A visit to the Greystone Castle is a must in Sturgeon Bay."
"Great food, service in your typical Wisconsin tavern setting. Had the prime rib sandwich for $19. What arrived was a piece of prime rib perfectly cooked, about an inch and a quarter thick on two pieces of Texas toast. The steak would have cost $28 to $30 by itself at another dinner club. Also ordered a combo basket which included deep fried mushrooms, onion rings and cheese curds. Excellent breading and perfectly fried. Was unable to eat all of the combo and half of the sandwich. Oh well, I have a great snack for later."
"The wife and I stopped by this place for a bite to eat and a few beers while in Sturgeon Bay. We had the prime rib sandwhich and the onion rings as well as a few beers. The onion rings were great! Awesome crunch and flavor. The prime rib on the sandwich was cooked perfectly rare, and the aus jus was flavorful. We'll be coming here again the next time we're in Door Co."
"Your average tavern and food. Not much atmosphere. Service was good. Food was good. I had the elk burger medium with American cheese, was excellent and flavorful. Waffle fries were awesome. Onion rings were ok. Prime rib sandwich was good but huge. Cheeseburger was fine. Burger and brat patty was good as well."
