It's a bit dusty and there are no fitting rooms or bathrooms, so that's a downer, but we always find great deals!"

"I came in to do some thrift shopping and when I asked Kenya for help she seemed to not want to help at all and was very rude when asking questions to her. At that point I didn’t even want anything and left the store. Please do better Kenya. Customer satisfaction comes first. She also cursed at me when I mentioned she wasn’t helping much. Very disrespectful and rude. I don’t know how she has a job there."

"Okay, so I love to shop 2nd hand stores. I also LOVE Value World. The Westland Michigan store is by far the best one that have been to. I was there on Wednesday 3/10/21 for the pop up 50% off sale. I walked in and right away I see the hand sanitizer right at the front door. Awesome! Then, you can see that they had a lot of carts available. (See Pics) I Started to look around since I've never been to this location prior to this. It looks very organized and managed well. It just had that feeling. I see they had many registers open. Huge plus!! An employee was directing them on which cashier to cash them out. Impressive! I found many great treasures!! I had a question in regards to something, and the employee was very informative and double-checked his answer for me. Yay! As I walked around looking for more items, I noticed all workers were doing their job, not standing around chatting. Awesome, again! When I was ready to pay, the person directing customers to the registers was very professional. (None of the other value worlds do this that I know of).My cashier, Lisa did a great job. She also told me about signing up for the point system. Which I did. The new registers are very cool!! And a social distancing with a plexiglass were in place. I was happy about about this for obvious reasons. It was really a great experience at this location. It's about a 45-minute drive for me, but I will definitely go back to this location before I would go to the others at this point. To sum it all up, you know you're at a second hand store but you don't feel like it. I am impressed with the way the employee's/management run this store. Great job value World Westland,MI!!!"

"Enjoyed shopping at this location. The store is of great size. It is organized well and I like the boutique addition to the store. As a fellow boutique owner I was inclined to make an employee aware that some of the merchandise on the sales floor needed to be marked up and displayed in their boutique. The racks are shoppable and easy to find merchandise. My only complaint is the Christmas merchandise (for the most part) was not well organized. There are Christmas decorations scattered on the shelves atop racks of clothes. Also the area for (I guess) bigger toys and medical equipment was messy and unshoppable. Despite that, the employees are pleasant. I didn't understand holding the line to find a mgr. to price something (there were 7 people in line)I guess cashiers are not trusted to price. Anywho, they offered a 50%off coupon because I spent over $30 so I will be back. Oh and I found an awesome orange Liz Claiborne purse in excellent condition for $20!"
