"I've been working for Our Space for almost 4yrs now, and in them 4yrs I've been able to help so many and learn myself about things I didn't realize. Nora is a amazing boss and leader. Melissa is an awesome HR and Jennifer is a great supervisor. I can't see myself working anywhere else in this line of work. Everyone is Entitled to their own Perspective and how they may Interpret things. But the bottom line is Our Space CARES about the community and always goes over and Beyond for individuals. Our Space meets everyone on a personal level and meets people where they are at. Our Space is not Only an amazing non-profit but also a family."

"I used to attend Our Space until around 2006. Thought I'd go back again in early 2013, which was great for awhile. Unfortunately, I was being bullied by Our Space members because I refused to give them cigarettes, and because I am LGBT. I attend Grand Avenue Club now, and I fit in there. No longer will I ever go to Our Space, because everytime I do, I'm bullied by members who I thought were my friends but actually are not."

"*WARNING* You may want to think twice before giving notice that your leaving this agency and pack ahead of time for the trip! This was a very degrading and embarrassing experience, something Our Space members and the community around us shouldn't have witnessed. My hope is that this picture will serve it's purpose as a warning to the public so that they can see first hand what upper management looks like. This picture is a direct reflection of you, not the 6+ employees that left in the past couple of months. Pros- I had the opportunity to work with many organizations on many different levels which also included attending Jingle Mingles, Speaking with organizations about the benefits of Our Space mission, Utilizing Peer Support Services and Integrating Peer Support & Mental Health services within Integrated Care systems. Cons- Offered affordable insurance to some employees but was not forthcoming about the cost to others because she didn't want to pay to have them on the plan. - ED splits staff by comparing each of them to one another instead of working with them directly - Empty promises that lead nowhere. Was promoted with a raise on a Friday and change of plans on Monday. No stability. - ED does not set clear boundaries with all staff and treat all staff with equality. This blurs the vision of an employee as they could do a similar act as a co-worker and be written up for it. FYI- Supervision should be held at an even higher regard - ED is more concerned about their reputation and themselves than providing the time and attention to the needs of the workers and the people they serve."
