"I am SO glad I chose Linda K from my insurance directory of therapists. I wanted someone who is a little farther down lifes' road and would understand empty nest, menopausal life changes. She has been instrumental in the progress I have made in untangling from some things that held me back (religious trauma) and encouraged me. I highly recommend Linda as an insightful, helpful, caring therapist."
"I have experience with Linda, who I was seeing during my separation/divorce. I love Linda! She's such a sweet and caring soul! Very welcoming and friendly! A member of my family actually introduced me to her, as she attends her yoga classes and therapy! Great woman "
"Linda is an unethical professional. Please don't take my word for it, please review her sanctions dated June 2, 2018 by AG Bill Shutte for unethical professional and billing practices. Please view her violations documents on healthgrades. During my now ex-boyfriends court-ordered co-parenting counseling, Linda exercised not only poor judgement, but violated many professional and ethical standards of a MA LPC, which were to the detriment of the relationship between the parents she was "assisting," and also to the three children involved, in circumstances of an alienating parent (Mother) using the children as pawns to wield against Father, her own family, and Father's SO at the time (me). Parental alienating "Mother" used many tactics and manipulative efforts to alienate the children from their Father; one being extra curricular activities. She would often (and was held in contempt of court for) make unilateral decisions such as enrolling the children in excessive amounts of extra-curricular activities (even during the summertime) in order to overburden Father with excessive driving to and from (an hour away) for 6 days of each of his parenting time during the summer. Rather than promote "co-parenting" and insist that Mother cooperate for logistics and "co-parent" so the children can attend all their activities, Linda stated to Father that his inability to drive 6 days of his 7 days on his weeks of parenting time, was him not being supportive of his children's interests. Thus, promoting the alienation tactics of the Mother, NOT co-parenting. Furthermore, Linda lied in court documents she submitted to the court stating that the children are unable to participate in their extra-curricular activities where they live because FATHER moved farther away from the children. This was a blatant lie (and the courts are aware) because FOC held Mother in contempt for moving farther away, not informing Father of where the children now lived, and not informing the courts as well. Why would a co-parenting coordinator blatantly lie to FOC? How many other times did she do so? To how many other parents? It is standard practice for a counselor to inform both parents when counseling appointments for minor children are made and the issues discussed, so both parents can actively be involved in the psychological care and well-being of the children. Linda was not only fully aware that Mother regularly did not inform Father of appointments (in violation of court orders), Linda also concealed appointments from Father, effectively assisting Mother in concealing treatment of the children and Father's ability to be an actively participating parent. Linda stated to Father, that it's not her duty to inform Father, as he was aware that they "may" continue counseling. However, how does a Father know to ask if both "counselor" and alienating Mother conceal the attended appointments, in violation of court orders? My ex-boyfriend and I had to seek counseling, so that we could learn to navigate the issues that Linda actually assisted alienating Mother in accomplishing: promoting discord in our home, with me, rather than promoting unity and helping our household find an equilibrium despite Mother's alienating tactics. Our counselor was concerned that Linda not informing Father when appointments were made and attended, as is standard and that she was not promoting unity in our home, but assisting alienating Mother in dividing the children, against me, in our home. Thus, assisting alienating Mother in sewing discord in our home, at the detriment of the children. Of course, when we attempted to seek family counseling through a competent and ethical professional that would encourage family unity and understanding among us all, mother would not cooperate because she was satisfied with the counselor that promoted her own alienating agenda. Linda's "practices" helped cause our home more stressors than our relationship could withstand, and caused the children more stressors, at the hands of their Mother and in the "care" of Linda's services. BEWARE."
"I love Linda! She's so easy for me to talk to and has such a beautiful soul! I also love her yoga classes!"
