"For the area it is, The stay was pretty decent. The staff were nice but especially notating Ebony, the day lobby receptionist. Her bright attitude and cheerful demeanor showed quite a bit. There have been far worse Red Roofs out there but the staff at the this location, during the time of our stay at least, was working to make the establishment better and more attractive. You can feel their care for the business. Give them a try if you are in the area."
"Room was not clean, pop bottles behind the night stand, smelled like old cigarette smoke, trash in refrigerator from previous guests, trash in stairways, dirty parking lot. Drug deals in parking lot. Night attendant was "entertaining" what seemed to be her boyfriend."
"I would give zero stars if I could. Do not go here. Room smelled of smoke, super disrespectful service when asked for a refund, I was told I’d have to come back the next day or call for the manager to give me a refund. The manager proceeds to berate me for not asking for a new room because ours stunk of cigarette smoke and was generally just very uncleanly ( an issue many people have commented about on here and when they asked for a new room still got one with cigarette smoke or other various issues.) To be fair when I checked out early they never asked to accommodate me in anyway or asked what was wrong, which is fair because the receptionist working was young and it was late at night ( I totally do not fault the employees who I’m sure don’t get paid enough to deal with half the stuff they see.) However, for them to tell me it’s my fault is unacceptable customer service. They were incredibly passive aggressive when saying that I should had come back twenty minutes after we got our room. We had been driving for hours and thought we could stick it out staying there. When we got back from the restaurant we went to our room and decided that our health and safety was more important. She also said that I needed to get a refund the night I left ( even though her employee said a manager wasn’t there to give a refund and I needed to come back the next day.) We had the room for maybe an hour at most but was only in the physical room for five minutes because we needed to get food… because we had been driving for hours. I never got to explain this to the manager though because she proceeds to talk in a passive aggressive tone before hanging up on me. If you’re in a leadership position, the staff need to act like it and provide quality customer service and just quality service in general at this establishment. I would had been satisfied if I had just been told it was against company policy rather than blaming me and hanging up on me. I’m never staying at a red roof ever again because of this experience and am advising others about this service. Not because I didn’t get my money back because at this point I don’t care about the money, I got a really cheap room and I guess that’s what I paid for so that’s what I got. It’s how they chose to treat its customers. Moral of the story read the reviews before you stay at hotel and don’t waste your money here. It’s a crime ridden area that’s incredibly unsafe especially with its permanent residences, unclean establishment ( the bathtub was so yellow at first glance I thought it was filled with dirty water), and bad management. P.S if you constantly have to say that you work with pest control as standard in the industry in MANY of the reviews, that’s kind of problematic."
"The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Some of the major bonuses verses the other hotels int the area. Allow pets with no pet fee. The rooms are flat rate, no deposits. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Shirley at the front desk and Casey the manager, along with all the other staff I met made the trip worth it."
"This was my first time staying in the hotel. The hotel manager Shirley, and the staff was super friendly, outstanding, and respectable. They did everything in their power to make sure I had the best stay. My room was perfectly clean from every inch and corner. They're pet friendly as well and I was able to bring my puppy with me. Also, there are so many restaurants and stores in walking distance. I definitely recommend this hotel, and will be back for another stay !"
