"It's Lowe's. It is a good Lowe's but it's a Lowe's. Update: The last few times I went I couldn't get the wood I needed. 8' boards that twist and bow too bad to use. The last time I went, I was competing with staff for carts. I lost so I left. Not been back since. I've been buying building materials from a competitor down the street. Selection at competitor has been better and I always have a cart to make my purchase. Consider the experience from the buyer's perspective and do better."
"My grandparents had a new porch put in two years ago through Lowe’s…needless to say it would seem they forgot to treat the wood, as it has bowed terribly…and the water proof finish put on soaked straight through so for sure wood was not treated. Now we are stuck with a railing that is not level and the porch looks horrible. Very disappointing with how much money this cost. Absolute shame. By the time things were noticed it was past the date for coverage. We loved the look when it was first done! A shame they didn’t treat the wood. Now we’re out many thousands of dollars. :("
"ZERO STARS WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Quite possibly the worst meeting of local and corporate retail in recent times. This store is not a positive addition to the community. The customer service and installed sales within the store are below expectations. The only reason this store receives the traffic it does is location. This store is very quick to sell its installed sales. This is the service that will come out and install your water heater, vanity or ceiling fan for you. The cost for Lowes to hire a third part contractor is approximately 50 percent more than if a customer was to outright hire a professional tradesman to come out and install your water heater, vanity or toilet. Let me emphasize - you don't know who is coming to your home to do the work. You have no idea what time (or if) they show up. There is no quality assurance built into this business model. Further employees are rewarded for pushing this overpriced and substandard service. Service after the sale is unacceptable. We hired Lowes to design and install our new kitchen. Design and the products were exactly what we ordered. The cabinets and hardware were delivered on time and as ordered. Cindy and Renee went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted in the kitchen. Unfortunately, that is where the happy story ends. LOWES third party installer perforated a drainage line installing our custom cabinets. The installer literally drove dry wall screws into the drainage line realized it was not a stud and removed the screw allowing brown water to saturate our kitchen. When the local LOWES and management were informed of this issue – they pressed the matter to corporate and said “There is nothing we can do.” Lowes Corporate insurance offered $13K to mitigate the loss and did not offer a contractor nor mitigation team to remedy the matter. There was absolutely no urgency in addressing the problem from LOWES at the corporate, regional or retail levels. After three months multiple phone calls, emails and traditional mail correspondence with LOWES corporate insurance we received no contact and no road ahead. We had to use our own insurance to fix the mess that LOWES created. We absorbed the deductible – after multiple phone calls to LOWES Insurance adjuster. USAA had to go into subrogation with LOWES to recover the $39K in repairs caused by their third-party installer. The store will likely post a phone number and say they can be reached seven days a week. My recommendation is taking your business and money elsewhere. The only reason they are getting one star is that google will not allow me to give zero stars. DO NOT RECOMMEND – HIGHLY SUSPECT."
"Do NOT remodel your kitchen with Lowe’s. Our kitchen project started in early May and is still not complete. The contractor just “squeezes us” in his schedule now every few weeks at inconvenient times and we are supposed to feel grateful for it. There are other local businesses for kitchens, they may be a higher price but trust me, worth it in time spent, quality of product and service. You’ve been warned."
"Dremel parts go to store and 5 gallon buckets with lids. They have restaurant quality buckets, too. 5 and 2 gallons. Clean, helpful cashiers, and organized. Great sales when they have clearance sales."
