"If I could give this motel 6 stars, I would! I stayed here with my dog for one night. It was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever booked and smelled great. The grounds are big and perfect for the puppers to go potty. There's a couple of areas set up with a firepit and chairs, and far enough away from the rooms that I didn't hear the people who were enjoying a fire the night I stayed. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and loved that I was only 5 minutes away from the downtown area of Saugatuck. I will definitely stay here again!"

"This is a really nice no frills motel. The yard and location is great. My parents stayed with their two dogs and having a nice motel all ground floor sure makes it easy to take the dogs out. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable"

"This is a really nice place to stay if you are visiting Saugatuck. Located just on the out skirts of the downtown area, it is a lovely and quiet retreat. The rooms are freshly remodeled, and while not fancy, they are clean and comfortable and offer a fridge, micro wave, large TV, and updated bathrooms with large tiled showers. They have lovely grounds with seating and picnic areas, grills and firepits, and a nice pool. A continental breakfast is offered in a small but nice breakfast room. Very friendly staff and pet friendly. Very close to the state park and other area features. I highly recommend staying at this motel."

"Starlite Resort was a great option for us. We booked based on the price and the reviews on how clean the resort was...and we were not disappointed. Check in was easy, the room was very clean and all staff we encountered were very friendly. It is late in the season so the pool was closed, but there is so much open space to grill, sit outside and sit around a firepit. Easy drive to town and if you dont want to drive...there is a $1.00 bus that will pick you up plus other inexpensive transportation options. We will be back in a warmer month to also try to enjoy the pool!"

"Extended weekend away, this place is fantastic. The rooms are great, bed is comfortable and plenty of pillows. Great TV and Wifi. The grounds are really well kept, with plenty of fire pits and comfortable seating dotted around. The swimming pool and hot tub are great, and a supply of quality bath size towels to hand. The continental breakfast is very good. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Plenty of local restaurants and breweries. And an inter urban bus you can call. So much to offer, what’s not to love."
