"My family stayed here over 4th of July Weekend. The place was nothing special. When we arrived Innkeeper Dean Borland informed us that there was no TV due to a storm. He also did not provide any Breakfast to guest. He was rude to my daughter the first day telling her how to open the door. The next day we had an ant problem, but Dean was never around. I finally caught him at 10 at night when he was dropping off something. He said he would take care of it. We never saw him again. We ran out of towels and had to use the same ones for 3 days. This guy is a joke, only looking for a money grab. Also, when leaving he wants you to clear the beds, take out the garbage, and do the cleaning staff's job for them. You do not want to stay here and can find better places elsewhere."

"We stayed in the Black Treasure room that is located on the first floor. Beware this room is by the front door, next to stairs and has adjoining door to kitchen so very noisy. Other guest going in and out till early morning kept us awake most of night. This is not mentioned in the description of the room. The room was not very clean when we stayed there there was cobwebs hanging from ceiling in bathroom and floor in bathroom was dirty. When we looked under bed when we left to make sure nothing got pushed under there of ours there were cobwebs hanging from bottom of bed and very dirty floor. Bedding is old and had holes in it. This property is not on water there are condos between it and the water. Breakfast was good and host was nice but didn’t want to compensate us for the inconveniences we experienced. With the additional fees we spent through booking with Airbnb we paid $370 a night way too much for what we got. Airbnb wouldn’t compensate either as you have to report any issues immediately to them and we didn’t as we tried to work out with host first."
