"I recently visited Dog O Mat Grooming for an appointment with a groomer, Beth, but was disappointed to find out that she was not available. Additionally, I had called Dog O Mat Grooming several times to confirm my appointment, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. I was not informed about this prior to my appointment that she was not available, but fortunately, a substitute groomer suggested that she could do it, and as she was a professional, I trusted her. However, the service I received was poor and did not meet my expectations. The substitute groomer did a very poor job grooming my dog, with the grooming being inconsistent and unprofessional. Some parts of the hair were shaved too short, while others were left too long. As a result, his face and body looked inconsistent and very bad. To make matters worse, the groomer shaved my dog's sensitive areas without consent or prior discussion, causing my pet to become irritated. He was licking his sensitive area for almost a week until some of the hair grew back. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from the substitute groomer at Dog O Mat Grooming and do not recommend this business based on my experience. As a customer, I expect a high level of service and professionalism from a grooming business, and unfortunately, this was not the case here. I would advise finding a groomer that you can trust and feel confident with and your pet can feel safe."
