"This review has nothing to do with Nike the company, it is mainly about the encounter I had with a staff member whose behavior was unacceptable as far in customer service. On 2/8/2024 at 1:23 pm we visited this Nike store at Somerset mall like we usually do when we visit this mall. We were shopping for our upcoming trip to Cancun Mexico and we were ready to check out . As we proceeded to the checkout counter their was already a Nike staff member their already by the name of Kyle. He let us stand there for 5 minutes and walked away and refused to serve us as checking us out. He walked away instantly and went to the shoe area and acted like he was doing something but he wasn’t as we were standing to be serve and no one came to check out us out. Then He rushed towards the back as we were standing looking , the back which is located behind the counter. And I saw him telling his Co worker that he didnt want to service us and to have his co worker Danny check us out instead. Then Danny came out to check us out after we been waiting 5 minutes for someone to assist us . I saw Danny as he approached us he looked confused and upset so I asked him “why couldn’t your team member check us out”? “why did he have to grab you”? “Is it for a particular reason”? I understand the guy doesn’t want to service us because we are Muslim but at the end of day you have a job to do. Leave your personal feelings at home .that is rude and unacceptable behavior in customer service . We are customers just trying to purchase something. So ,then Danny explained he doesn’t know why , but explained that he loves to check out customers and he doesn’t know why his Co worker Kyle refused to assist us. And he would let his manager know. Danny was very friendly and sincere about the incident and we thanked him for his outstanding customer service and handling of the situation. But I feel like that team member Kyle needs more training in customer service because it doesn’t matter what race or religion we are . He has a job to do , which is to assist customers regardless. And if you can’t do that and leave your personal feelings at home then maybe your in the wrong field."
"They had the valentines dunks early but no one spoke or even addressed us in the store.. very disappointed just go to Footlocker !"
"We were able to exchange our online Nike order in store and it was simple and seamless. Was a very nicely put together store too. Lots of inventory."
"Ordered my shoes on the app, ready for pick up in less than 2 hours. Tons of employees eager to assist. Store well stocked with clothes and shoes."
"I found it inappropriate that all the bundles of socks were priced at $22.00 at the register I was charged $28.00. I wa told that the computer issued an increase in the price. I asked why the prices weren't changed on the socks to reflect the new price, no answer was given. I believe that is the true definition of false advertising. Very disappointing!"
