Kid's First Pediatrics

"I have never really had a problem with Dr. Hatta. She was always nice. Recently I have been experiencing problems the last couple years. She had HFMD which she claimed she was recovering but not contagious. Guess what... my kids got it. So either the rooms were not cleaned enough or my kids got it from her. Another thing is I recently received bills for my kids from 2021. I don't have any bills! I paid for everything. Then to top it off these last visits (wellness)... here I am getting charged $30 for consultations when I didn't go to them for help. They asked me questions on what they liked to eat and how much juice they drink and how much water they drink. That's called an "obesity consultation"? And then also my oldest was getting a vaccine. They gave me a piece of paper with the information on the vaccine and here I have a $60 charge for vaccine consultation. I guess if you have medicaid go ahead and go to her. That's how I went to her at the beginning. Now that I have different insurance... I always have a bill and it's not the co-pay..."

"Love the Dr! However there's clearly new office staff unfortunately! The new office staff called me to say that Dr Hatta could not fill my daughter's prescriptions due to the fact they are no longer seeing us, said there was no explanation for this neither an that if we had any questions to call the office! Well we've called and called and called no one will answer or return or calls! I guess the new office staff chose whom the Dr is going to be aloud to see now and whom she isn't! Greatly appreciate the last minute is notice, right...."

"I took my daughter here for her first 2 visits after she was born. Not only was the doctor extremely rude with comments about my daughters cleft lip, she made us feel very uneasy, so we switched to a different doctor. Fast forward to 3 years later and I am just now getting a bill for these visits, and it turns out they some how "lost" my insurance info that I provided at the time. So now I need to try to figure out how to get the billing company my insurance card from 3 years ago....very unprofessional."

"I see a lot of the 1 star reviews are people who fail to understand accountability, but I've never had any issues in the ~2 years I've been taking my son here. Dr. Hatta and her staff have always been amazing with us; we've never experienced any rudeness or unpleasantness. I have had to cancel/reschedule once or twice due to scheduling issues, and it was always done well in advance of 24 hours per their cancelation policy. Never been charged a fee, never been turned away. I don't always get ahold of staff when I call (all of the staff keep busy I've noticed, they're all constantly doing something when we'rein for our appointments), but if I leave a message they always return my call within 24 hours."

"I love this Dr office. My girls have been seen by Dr Hatta since they were both born, over 7 years now! The nurses know us by name without pulling the file. Always greeted with smiles when I come in with my daughters!"
