Neu Hope

"The reason this practice got a one star rating is because they have direct correlation to the Neu Urgent Care next door. The only way they will really see you is if you make new urgent care your primary care practice in fact, that’s what I was told to do an about my second appointment otherwise they were not gonna be able to see me any longer. It was all kind of fine until I started wanting or needing other help. On top of the fact that when Gina was the provider I seen she used to push that I see Dr. Marcos as a psychiatrist next-door so eventually I did because I should have been seeing a psychiatrist anyways. I won’t get into why I regret that because that’s a different review regarding the urgent care next door. Anyways, I’ll admit that I have had some very heavy, recent trauma, which did heavily affect me, but I also didn’t keep that a secret from not one provider at either practice. I never had a problem with Colleen the new provider at new Hope, in fact, I actually still appreciate her to this day for helping to stabilize me on the medication, and in my opinion, she went above and beyond in doing so. If she read this, I hope she knows I really appreciate her. And if all you ever need to go there for is just substance-abuse treatment and will never need any other services then would still suggest you go there because she is a good doctor. But unfortunately, giving anything more than one star wasn’t going to get anybody’s attention and the way I was treated was wrong. If it wasn’t for Dr. Colleen having a heart I would have been left with no substance abuse medication this month because I was not informed that I was dropped as a patient from really either place till I showed up to my very next, which ended up being last substance-abuse appointment. In fact, I’m still not even really sure why they dropped me as a patient from this practice. Other than spite from me filing formal complaints and grievances and bad reviews on Google. Although I will tell you that the practice next-door put some pretty nasty lies in my medical file saying that they called the police on me, but I ran away, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m glad my father sat in as a witness. i’m not really sure what I did to deserve this. Unless antagonized, I am very kind mannered and well-meaning. I have friends and family that will attest to that. I hope nothing like this happens to anybody else, because even though I have been able to deal with this well, it has all been very difficult, and had I not been through the things I was, I’m positive I would have given up by now. But there is no going back. Not after what I have been through in life."

I cried with relief when I found out they have an outpatient detox program. I went to my appointment and now I'm sitting here writing a sober review...a rare occasion. I had to maintain my job to stay sane and Neu Hope is keeping me comfortable as I reenter the world at large. I work with underserved and/or struggling children, so finding a program like this was imperative. My relief is almost inconceivably hard to put words to- I have all the tears and all the hope. Do not put off feeling better- call the excellent staff at Neu Hope!"
