"No appointment to see the doctor lasted over 10 minutes Does not review and discuss the terminology of my cancer. I’ve seen the nurse practitioner more than I’ve seen the doctor"

"Horrible check-in experience. Not sure of her name (Sherry or Sharon?) but she has a white bobbed haircut with black rimmed glasses and sits at the check-in desk. You work in a cancer facility! Learn how to speak to patients with care and respect or find a new job!! Extremely rude to my elderly dad because he FORGOT his wallet for his visit. He’s a regular cancer patient in this office!! He doesn’t need to be spoken to as an idiot because he’s sick with cancer and just happened to forget his wallet!!! This person shouldn’t be working with cancer patients if she can’t be kind to those she’s supposed to be assisting. Funny thing - there’s a sign on the desk telling people to be nice to those who showed up to work haha!! How about this check-in person being nice to the cancer patients who are needing some compassion!!!"

"The staff has been great and caring. Dr. Howard always takes time to explain things and mskes me feel like he cares. They could return calls a bit quicker and the appointment reminders should specify correct address and not always be Sterling Heights."

"Dr. Akhtar and his PA’s specifically Sammy have always been there to support me and answer my questions. I’ve been in treatment for 3 1/2 years with this group and have always been able to reach them using mychart or calling the office. Dr. Akhtar has spent as much time as I needed, talking about my cancer and what treatment options there are so we could make decisions together. Dr. Howard while very direct, I would call him brutally honest which some people can handle other can’t. I’ve always found his direct approach helpful when making decisions."

"Never ever been to a doctors office that was so incompetent. Dr. Howard is dismissive and didn't seem to care what I had to say about her previous treatment. She went from pediatric to adult care. He didn't think my daughter's lovenox levels needed to be tested frequently. She has a clotting disorder and is pregnant. She's high risk. But the staff...wow. They may be nice but definitely in the wrong line of work. I truly mean they are incompetent. Scheduling with them is ridiculous. They failed to specify which office or the office was specified and it was the wrong office when we got there. Would never in a million years recommend Dr. Howard's offices."
