"I had a surgical procedure on my back the afternoon of 9/21/21. I was the only one having a procedure that afternoon, so my wife was able to stay in the waiting room. Admitting procedures were fine. However postoperatively, I had severe pain in my left hip, which I did not have preoperatively. I was given pain meds and was reassured all would be fine. I could not put any weight on my left leg. The Center discharged me anyway. I contacted my doctor who told me that no one informed him that I was having this pain or that my wife was in the waiting room expecting to speak with him. My wife also told me that the personnel periodically gathered in the check in area behind the glass and were all unmasked and seemed to be in a hurry to leave. I don't feel that I should have been discharged until my doctor had been contacted and my hip pain had been evaluated."
