Reviews
"As many of the other reviews indicate, this place is terrible. While the staff is friendly, the office and practice are disorganized and unprofessional. I've had two appointments here. The first time, I had to wait after over 1.5 hours even though I had an appointment. The second appointment, I waited for an hour and gave up and left. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable."
"Recently had an examination with Dr Matthew Houck. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and offered me options for addressing my eye care. Truly happy I chose to get my eyes checked here."
"After the first visit I was given a prescription that resulted in glasses that didn’t work at all. Had to redo eye exam and get a new script with completely different prescription. Next time tried new optometrist (Dr. Haller) but he retired after a short time. Following year tried third optometrist here and his patient skills were not good at all. Finally just changed to different optical services company and I haven’t had any issues at all since. Not sure why this group at Paragon seems to really have trouble getting it right. We miss Dr. Haller; he was great while he was here."
"I am sorry to be the first one in a long time to say negative things about Paragon. OH MY GOSH!!!. I just checked and I only saw a regular optimotrist--not an opthamologist and I paid the big money and could have gone to Walmart!!!! I waited 3 hours for this service!!! I was told that my appointment might be as long as 2 hours and it really was close to 3 hours. Now if activity had been going on during that whole time I could have understood but probably almost 2 hours of it was wait time. I did get a check up and the person I saw did explain what she was planning to do because of my conditions but it started out that I waited 20 minutes just to see the assistant who then asked me a bunch of questions and checked my eyes and then dilated my eyes. Why couldn't he check my eyes, then dilate, then ask tons of questions. Specialists receive lots of money for their expertise and I saw an optometrist!!! So the services could have at least been TIMELY!!!!. This experience was far from timely."
