"Yesterday, I had lunch at Bread & Roses, and I was incredibly impressed! Their menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and I was particularly happy to see so many gluten-free options available. I opted for the Mushroom Hash Bowl and it was absolutely fantastic. For my fellow gluten-sensitive friends, I highly recommend their lattes. Just be sure to request it without the cookie on top, as it contains gluten. But trust me, the latte itself is delicious enough on its own!"
"So much avocado on my toast!!! Eggs cooked exactly how I wanted. Delicious pink picked onions, which complimented the arugula perfectly. Awesome music, great atmosphere. Seated our party of 12 the best they could!"
"I heard wonderful things about this place, but I was underwhelmed. Maybe my expectations were too high. Service was super fast, and the food was tasty enough. But I found it very overpriced for breakfast. The coffee was almost $4 for a cup, and a glass of apple juice was $5. Breakfast for one person ended up costing nearly $25."
"Wow, we’re to start.Atmosphere is amazing. They have a nice bar area. Now let’s talk about food. We had the B & R house omelette. It came with a decent amount of meat in it. Very minimal cheese. And very very dry. They mixed the meat in with the omelette. Potatoes for both of our meals were undercooked,cold and dry. If you want to smash some of them with your fork it was like smashing a very undercooked potato. My artesian bread was toasted on one side and cold. None of our toast came out buttered. We had to ask for jam and butter for our toast. The lamb Barbacoa Skillet: the lamb has amazing great flavor, juicy and tender but the onions were undercooked. The carrots were undercooked and the potatoes again were …undercooked. I don’t know about anybody else but when something says roasted carrots, and caramelized onions I think of yummy creamy caramelized onions with delicious roasted carrots. That is not what I received with this dish, they are lightly cooked . They do not serve french fries here so I don’t know if they have a deep fryer? All in all the menu shows potential, however executing that potential is another question."
"Hash bowls were excellent, enough for leftovers! The restaurant decor is modern and the kitchen is partly visible. Definitely a place to try again and again."
