Chadd's Bistro

"Really not a good restaurant experience. Some of our party received our food a good half hour after the rest, and the server didn't acknowledge it or explain that something had happened with the kitchen until we said something. The restaurant was not very busy. The potatoes were like greasy cardboard and not warm. My waffle was supposed to come with bacon or sausage, and I asked if I could substitute a side of eggs because I don't eat pork. I was not asked how I wanted they eggs cooked. They came out very runny and when I got my bill I had been charged for them. They did ultimately comp our whole table's coffee, which was nice, but some of us were much more affected by the issues than others, so it would be nice to have that recognized and not be charged for a substitution. Honestly I'm not sure why I'm even giving 2 stars other than feeling bad giving 1. It's wild to me that this place has such a high average."

"We chose this place based on their very good reviews. I'm totally confused how they can possibly have such a high score. I'm not a picky person. Whether it's a really nice restaurant or a Rams Horn as long as the service and food is decent I have no complaints. So for me to write a bad review it has to be bad It was very cold inside. The servers were nice and attentive but the food (two sandwiches) took a very long time to come out. When they finally did come out the sweet potato fries didn't show up until I was about half done. The food was really just so-so. The sandwiches were underwhelming especially for $15. The sweet potato fries were just terrible in my opinion. Huge chunks of greasy undercooked deep fried sweet potato without any batter. It took forever to get the bill and it looks like they charged a service fee for using a credit card. Total for 2 people (2 sandwiches. Sweet potato fries and soft drinks) was $40 and I felt like the food wasn't even as good as subway and it took forever. Go elsewhere."

"We've been waiting months for Chad's to open in their new location. We got to take out for the first time since they reopened. Four sandwiches and fries. My way can I split the Italian, it was okay. Nothing special. We will try again because we loved their sandwiches in the past. The new location is nice. Huge bar, but no televisions???? I'm guessing that they will come later."

"I've heard good things about Chadd's from their other location but never went. When seeing that they were taking over the bar on the other side I was excited. This evening the boyfriend suggested we go there for dinner so we did. It was so good, I had the Alyssa Avocado and he had The Fat Steve."
