"I had an okay experience here. The oxtail lunch special was pretty flavorful. But the portions were small in my opinion for the price. I figured they'd have small portions of plantain (most people do) so I ordered an extra side of plantain. But even that was skimpy. I was told the lunch special came with cabbage but did not get any. The cornbread was dry. The overall taste is a 7/10 but the overall service was a 6/10 in my opinion meaning it wasn't horrible but I saw room for improvement."

"Food was delicious, meat could have been more tender but it was perfectly seasoned and delicious despite this. I got the goat and my partner got the stewed chicken and oxtails. We will be ordering again in the near future. I feel like only a Caribbean or African would care about this part but the plantains weren’t as ripe as they could have been, tasted like they ran out of ripe plantains and had to settle for just yellowing plantains. But the food was definitely worth the cost, the servings are large and agin it was delicious."

"I love to support black owned businesses and I also love Carribean cuisine. I had the bread pudding before which was good. Decided to stop in for a jerk chicken quesadilla. They are very friendly and it’s very clean inside. However the jerk chicken quesadilla had absolutely NO flavor whatsoever. I was highly disappointed. I expected some type of jerk sauce to dip it in. They have salsa and sour cream. I wasn’t upset about that I expected to at least taste some jerk flavor inside the quesadilla. It was super bland. I’ll give them another try and see if the jerk chicken itself has flavor. It was also very small. Expected it to be a little bigger. I was still hungry."
