Reviews of Panaderia y Antojitos de mi tierra
"I just moved to Kazoo from the West coast and the thing I miss the most are tacos without sour cream! Fortunately Panaderia is here to save my taste buds. The tacos are marinated to perfection and served with grilled onions and cabbage, and that's it... and that's all a taco should be. I definitely think this is my new favorite place for tacos and I will be bringing all my friends."
"Tried the tacos guatemaltecos, horchata, and elote loco. Food was delicious, service was good, and atmosphere was nice. I’ll definitely be back to try more! I love that there’s Guatemalan cuisine here in Kalamazoo. Come support this small business!"
"Hands-down, some of the best central American food in the region. Very authentic, small menu but they do it right. Highly recommended."
"We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday not realizing they closed at 6 so they were out of some things. Everything was delicious and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered horchata, chicken tacos, tamale, and garnachos. The chicken tacos really were delicious. Chicken was really flavorful and the lightly pickled cabbage on top was a wonderful addition. We had never eaten Guatemalan food so the style of tamale was very different from a Mexican tamale. It's rice not corn mesa that is really savory and delicious, I'd eat a bowl of just the rice! There is a chicken thigh in it too! And it's topped with a fantastic dark red sauce. Garnachos were great as well and fun to try yet another new to us dish. Small crunchy tortillas with meat and toppings. Kinda nachos. They also have a bakery case filled with sweet and savory breads."
