Steak 'n Shake

"I was just there Feb. 18th at 11:45am. I spoke to the lady in the drive thru and explained to her that I was just there earlier that morning picking up food for my son and that he didn't receive his large fries. I told him I'd go back, but it would have to be after church. But the lady asked me if I was in the log..I told her that I wasn't because I'm telling her just now that we didn't get the fries and she says, "Well, then there's nothing I can do for you." I asked, "Well, can you add me to the log then." She says, "No, because you didn't tell us you didn't get your fries." Me: That's what I'm doing right now. Her: You have to tell us right away. Me: I only went to church so it wasn't that long ago. Then she lied and said I told her it was quite awhile ago. But either way it shouldn't matter because even if I had gone to work and couldn't tell them for like 9 hours my son still paid for something he didn't receive and once they are informed of their mistake they should make it right, otherwise that's Stealing. She was just really rude and having an attitude for no reason and kept repeating, "There's nothing I can do for you" in this dead sounding voice because I'm not in the log. The first step would have to be for me to inform them and THEN they could add me to a log if that's their procedure. How would I be in their log before I even told them? I even asked her, "So do you mean I can't contact you about the missing item in person? That I have to call to be added to the log? Her response was, "There's nothing I can do for you." She wasn't making any sense and just being dismissive and rude, so confused I just told her, "Ok, I will just call and then come back again later." Her: "I don't see how that's going to make a difference, but ok.""

"My cousin and I frequent here extremely often after a day out shopping together, this is our go to spot, we rarely go anywhere else. We have gone at various times of the day, as late as 1:30 am, and the food is always delicious. Rarely has there been a mistake, and if there is it's been a minor, quick fix. The building is always clean, and the staff have always been super nice and seem to be enjoying themselves- and they even check in on you throughout your meal. Food comes out in a timely manner and always hits the way it needs to. This location knows what they're doing!!"

"They don't have cashiers. Common place these days. The food was a little slow coming out but the shakes were worth the little wait. I have the chicken strip and onion rings. They were average. Shakes are definitely the best part."

"I've been to numerous Stake N Shakes in Michigan and this one is the best one not only do they greet everyone, they are fast, friendly and professional. The manager Heather I believe is her name and crew are amazing. There was not one worker that did not greet a customer. You can tell everyone there December 31st at 2:00am work great as a team they definitely need to acknowledge by the store."
