Reviews
"Pretty good Chinese food - the best I have found in the area so far. We will definitely pick up again. Their ordering option online makes ordering easy."
"Really nice clean place. Eggrolls were awesomely, crunchy and definitely has good cabbage inside average for an eggroll."
"Fast food, mostly take out, very small dinning area. Really good eggrolls and crab Rangoon. Chicken lo mein was very tasty and large portions. Fried rice was kind of bland but will add some soy sauce to my leftovers. Will definitely be going back."
"Really good barbeque pork/charsui..we also tried their combinations. The portions are very generous and the food was excellent!! Would recommend this place if you are looking for Chinese food in this region!"
"Great first time visit. I had not been to New China City, but had heard from a dear friend that she only orders Chinese food from New China City. As I trust her judgement, I decided to try it myself. I ordered a Lunch Special - Chicken Black Bean (Fermented Black Bean) and an order of Chicken Chow Mei Fun (not a lunch special). I was pleased with how fresh (as many of the reviews here also noted) and not over-salted the food was. The fermented black bean was not strong - it's cooked in a way that would be good for someone looking to be introduced to this new flavor. I personally would have preferred it to be a little stronger, as I grew up eating dishes made with fermented black bean, but it was not a deal breaker for me at all. The rice was delicious and the flavor reminded me of the rice my parents would make at their restaurant when I was a child. For the Chicken Chow Mei Fun, it was enjoyable and not at all oily! I don't know that I'm giving it a fair chance/review, because my mind kept going back to my childhood and eating fermented black bean dishes. :) So I had a couple of bites and will come back to the noodles at a later time today. It has been sitting for a couple of hours and still looks delicious, so I expect I will still enjoy it for dinner. I look forward to the noodles later today and I hope to be back again and try the Shrimp in lobster sauce!"
