"Russ' Round-Up: A 5-Star Family Feast! Let me tell you, folks, dining at Russ' was like hitting a culinary jackpot for this fam of six. We rolled in hungry and left grinning, bellies full of good food and hearts warmed by top-notch service. The Food: Oh, the food! We tackled the menu like a champion team. The roast beef was a homerun – melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a gravy that danced on your tongue. My wife, who's a roast beef connoisseur (it's a thing, trust me), declared it "the best she's had in years." The double cheeseburger was a juicy behemoth, perfectly stacked and satisfying. My son inhaled it with the zeal of a teenage vacuum cleaner. The chicken strips and tender chicken were crispy perfection, and the mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy bliss (my other son practically licked the bowl clean). Even the fries, those humble potato soldiers, were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside – a testament to Russ' culinary prowess. The Service: But the star of the show (besides the food, obviously) was our waitress. She was a master of her craft, balancing efficiency and friendliness with the grace of a seasoned pro. She anticipated our needs, kept the water glasses full, and even cracked jokes that had us snorting into our napkins (my wife and I, anyway – the kids just rolled their eyes at our silliness). Her quick wit and sarcastic edge (which is practically a birthright in my family) made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The Verdict: Five stars, no question. Russ' delivered on every front – delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and service that made us feel like family. We'll definitely be back to conquer more menu items, and hopefully, catch another round of witty banter from our favorite waitress. If you're looking for a family-friendly feast with a side of laughter, look no further than Russ'. You won't be disappointed! P.S. To the waitress, if you're reading this, you rock! Thanks for making our night extra special."
"The food was good, but, I was missing my vegetables. We couldn't find or get a hold of our waitress(Emma). Some sweet girl from the back helped us (take our order, took order for dessert). I saw our waitress 2 times (1. Bringing our food to the table. 2. Checking on us after we got a hold of the other girl for dessert.) I know she was busy with a big group, but, there was no excuse for ignoring us."
"Everything looks good on their website but trust me it's not even close I wouldn't recommend stopping here even for a water it's terrible just look at my olive burger if you can call it that"
"Family restaurant, but really nice. For my family, they have great selection and a good kids menu as well. Dog friendly patio with big enough tables for 6 and umbrellas covering each. Menu has a lot of family friendly options, sandwiches, entrees, and the desserts are home made and rotating. So check the schedule. Really nice home made soup. Been here several times with my family and the service is always amazing. My family has some picky eaters and the usually have lots of modifications. The meals always come out quick and correct. Speedy as well. I wish they were open on Sunday for brunch, but I won't hold that against them. It is great to give their employees a time off to rest."
"My mom got the Lake Perch Dinner with soup and salad and said it was great! I got the Lake Perch Dinner with fries and onion rings and it was awesome! My dad got the chicken strips and said they were good! Server was friendly and they give you a lot of food! Would recommend ☺️ Paid $16 for fried cod basket with two sides and two drinks, which is not bad at all! They also offer cloud bread which is zero carbs and gluten free upon request! So cool!"
