Costco Wholesale

"My pregnant wife went to Costco today for only three items and decided to not get a cart. She ended up getting more and had her hands full going to self check out. She is obviously pregnant, and the worker at self checkout very rudely asked to see her Costco card (the same card she showed to get in the door). He made a big deal about seeing her card even though her hands were full, she was able to get to a register to sit her items down, and he yelled over at a worker that they still needed to see her card. The same card she was going to have to scan to be able to use the register. The amount of redundancy wasn’t the issue, the issue is a worker rudely asking to see her card while she clearly has her hands full. Instead of making a big deal, he could have helped her with her items."

"I just love Costco. The gas is so much cheaper than everyone else - it would easily pay for your membership. I feel like Sam's is a bit cheaper on daily items (toilet paper, detergent, etc.) but Costco is so much better to their employees and is a great addition to our community. The food is much better quality than Sam's (I won't buy meat at Sam's). The clothes are better quality than Sam's but still with a great price. The prepared meals from the deli are AMAZING. Overall they have a lot of organic, healthier options."

"Great options for catering considering price and quality! If ordering a platter ahead, you need to drop off the paper in the ordering slot at least 24 hours in advance. They did say you could call and order, but you would have to talk with someone at the front of the store who would then have to walk back the order (you might need to call with more than 24 hours notice). Also, the audiology folks are great. My grandfather passed away, they said they could repurpose his hearing aids for my grandma, she just needed a Costco membership and to schedule an appointment with them."

"First time at Costco - ONLY Because I received a gift card for Christmas that allowed me to take 1 guest as well - @Costco you have to buy a membership for either $60 month at a time or $120 for the year. Honestly in my opinion... they had AMAZING deals in buying BULK food items & very few other items.... but furniture & jewelry.... the prices were absolutely ridiculously HIGH. (for my pockets anyway) As far as the employees at Costco.. I'd give them 2.5- some of them 3 stars ⭐ for multiple reasons... 3 of them being... 1. The employee at the door, whom was there to check everyone's Costco card - asked for our card & as I went to pull my gift card out of my wallet... he glanced at it & then pretty much brushed us off, looking for an actual Costco member... completely ignoring my question when asking him where the bathroom was located at 2. Not one employee asked if we needed assistance with anything (even dollar stores will offer help) 3. When checking out, the employee was extremely rude & we felt as if she was treating us like "black sheep" of the family.. like we didn't belong; her attitude was very disrespectful This is just my experience, I can't say yours will be the same - go check it out for yourself. Costco is located right off 108 exit & to your right. I actually HOPE that you enjoy your experience more... & if not, I at least HOPE you get some amazing deals that saves your family money & time !! Good luck !!"
