Kitchen Saver

""0" stars. I do not normally post this type of comment, but after the phone call I just received with the customer service scheduler for Kitchen Saver, I had to speak up. One of the first questions the young lady asked me "How long you have owned your home?" I told her I have owned my home for seven years. She asked if I was the sole owner, I said yes. Then she wanted to know my husbands name, if I had one ... a husband. I only repeated my name. She asked again (like I had not heard correctly), so again, I repeated my name. She was insistent on knowing the name of someone else. I then proceeded to tell her I was offended by her even asking me that question as it had absolutely NO bearing on them giving me a quote on kitchen cabinets. As if I was incapable of owning my own home, they wanted proof of a "man" for what, financial reasons?!? I own my home. Period. Then she said the average baseline for cabinet refacing by Kitchen Saver was from $12,000-$20,000. Seriously? Without even seeing my kitchen or how many cabinets, she said they start refacing at $12,000. Using my own cabinet doors, and only updating the hardware and pulls. Ridiculous. Regardless of the cost, I will never recommend Kitchen Saver based on the line of questioning from one of their employees. I will go visit another cabinet company and hopefully find one that would like my business... with or without a husband. My marriage status is none of your business."
