"Being a new client referred from my new employer GE that I join the credit union. I will say this...GE credit union sucks as far as meeting certain needs of "new clients" and need reevulate their branch managers. I was told when joining that "cashiers checks" were free. Upon trying to get a cashier check I was told I had to pay $5.00 and it was up to the discretion of the branch manager if this fee could be wavie or not. At the branch were I was conducting business, the manager told me that I need to pay the $5.00 fee, I explained that I was a new client and that I would need to have cashier's checks again I was told that the fee is $5.00. I politely withdrew my $70,000.00 and took my business back to my bank Chase where cashiers checks are free! A poor choice ... no horrible choic in treatment of a new client. I should have read the Google review before visiting."

But as far as the loan application and processing go, Jasen and Ron were the epitome of great customer service. They were patient, responsive and kept me advised. Your online payment process and history information are not very intuitive, could be much better labeled. I do like that I could pre-date payment drafts."

"They make it incredibly difficult to pay my loan online however I want. I want to put in more than the minimum, but not pay it off completely just yet. I never ran into a situation like this. Other banks were always happy to take what I can offer at a time. They’re also pushy about opening a checking account. will no longer be doing business with them after my car is paid off!"
